Our plantations are established on grasslands, previously used for cattle grazing. Although rearing cattle provides the local population with an income, it is an activity, which compacts and damages the soil.

Furthermore, extensive areas of grassland are burned regularly which kills off the wildlife and the flora and fauna. The company vows to protect existing natural forests and we will restore natural biological corridors in areas deemed suitable for restoration. Not only do we ensure that the land is ideal for the three types of species we plant, we also assess the social and environmental impact our plantations have in the immediate region.
