Pachamama forest Ltd is very proud to have partnered with the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity 2011-2020 to help acheive the 5 goals set by the UN. The five goals set by the United Nations in Japan, October 2010 consist of:

At Pachamama we pay particular attention to reducing pressure on biodiversity and promoting sustainable use by regenerating degraded savannah and establishing sustainable plantation sites to release pressure on the andes and Amazon Rainforests. These two rainforests located in Colombia contain one sixth of the biodiversity on earth in an area less than 1% of earth's landmass. These critical forests regenerate earth's atmoshere and lock carbon in the trunks of the trees. Current deforestation rates have seen more than 2.7 million acres of primary forest dissapearing from the Amazon rainforest according to WWF. To put it another way, that equates to four football fields every minute of every day.

Pachamama Forest is dedicated to the preservation of the existing primary forest and to the substantial reduction in carbon emissions. To ensure we stay on point with this effort, we are following the 10 Principals of the One Planet Initiative:
